Our association traces its roots to founder Rosemarie Chazelas’ volunteer work feeding the homeless following the pandemic in 2020. She noticed how the infamous convoluted structure of French bureaucracy was virtually incomprehensible to a majority of Filipinos and that there was a glaring need for an association specialized in navigating and simplifying French administrative processes.

In 2022, encouraged by the Philippine Embassy in Paris, she set aside a portion of her home to establish the beginnings of what would eventually become Espace Philippin. Today, the association has helped hundreds of people and has a wide reach across the Paris region. The association aims to help not only Filipinos living in the French capital but also anyone looking for administrative help across France.
